Design of Academic Publications

The Graphic Design Unit establishes and maintains the formal integrity and visual quality of academic publications under Marmara University Press in line with institutional publishing principles.

The Unit plans and carries out all design, layout, and page design processes to ensure that journals and books are published in accordance with national and international publishing standards.

Internal Visual Works

In addition to academic works to be published, the Unit also carries out design work for internal promotional and informational materials, including:

• Poster design

• Brochure design

• Book and journal cover design

All works are prepared in accordance with the quality standards of academic publishing and the principles of institutional identity, adopting an aesthetic, functional, and consistent design approach.

Process and Standards

Works submitted for publication are evaluated within the framework of designated design templates, the publication schedule, and publishing principles.

Design and editorial processes are continuously improved in line with current publishing standards, with the aim of enhancing the quality and visibility of academic publications.
